American Legion Home and Club.

The American Legion was established by an act of Congress to take care of American war veterans and their families. Valdosta established Post 13 in 1919 with 15 charter members. This Post was the thirteenth to be established in Georgia. The current red brick building with its classical pediment front porch and dormers was constructed in 1931 and continues to serve as a Legion Home today.
